What is MyAuthorSuite Search Tool?

It is a free browser extension for authors and self-publishers who research books on Amazon. It adds keyword research, search-result summaries, product details and paperback royalty estimates to supported Amazon marketplaces.

Which Amazon marketplaces are supported?

The extension supports Amazon.com, Amazon.co.uk, Amazon.it, Amazon.de, Amazon.fr and Amazon.es. Keyword research and page analysis run on the marketplace you are currently browsing.

Is the extension free?

Yes. The Search Tool is free. MyAuthorSuite may also offer broader paid products, but this landing separates those from the extension features.

Does it collect my data?

No personal data, search history or usage logs are collected by the extension. Product and suggestion data used by the tool is processed locally in your browser.

How does keyword research work?

The tool queries Amazon suggestions from the current marketplace using a seed keyword and related letter expansions. It then sorts keyword ideas with a relative popularity score based on suggestion position and recurrence.

What does the KDP-only control do?

It hides products that were not detected as independently published. Detection depends on data visible on Amazon pages, so it should be treated as a research aid rather than a legal classification.

What are recent publication metrics?

When you click the recent publications button, the extension loads date-sorted results and counts valid publication dates from the last 30 and 90 days, including recent BSR ranges when available.

How are paperback royalties calculated?

When a product page exposes price, page count and trim size, the extension estimates royalties for eligible black-and-white, standard color or premium color print options. The user must still verify the real print type.

Why should I use incognito mode?

Incognito mode can make research more consistent by reducing the effect of cookies, account history and personalization. You need to allow the extension in incognito from your browser settings.

Is MyAuthorSuite affiliated with Amazon?

No. MyAuthorSuite is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Amazon, Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox.
